In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) basketball squad edged the host Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY), by a margin of 59-58.
The Panthers (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Hornets go into the District 16 outing with a 11-8 record. In their last outing, Metcalfe County held off Russell County (Russell Springs, KY), 58-47, in a league outing.
The Patriots now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Warren East for a non-league outing on Friday, February 2. Allen County-Scottsville will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 68-34 non-league win over Russellville (Russellville, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 17-2.
