Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) and the host Tonkawa Buccaneers (Tonkawa, OK), saw Alva's basketball squad wallop Tonkawa by a tally of 65-23.

With the victory, Alva improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Goldbugs host Frontier (Red Rock, OK) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. Frontier won 64-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Chisholm (Enid, OK)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Tonkawa will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record.
