In Tuesday's league outing, the Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA), by a margin of 75-13.
The Buccaneers (16-9) will now prepare for their outing against Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA). The Broncos go into the 5A District 3 outing with a 4-21 record. In their last outing, Sam Houston was trounced by Lafayette (Lafayette, LA), 57-27, in a league outing.
The Spartans now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Southside for a 5A District 3 outing on Friday, February 2. Comeaux will clash with a Sharks squad coming off a 42-36 league win over Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Sharks record now stands at 24-3.
