The Mariners now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nooksack Valley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Friday, February 2. Sehome will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 83-36 league win over Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 14-1.

The Borderites (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ferndale (Ferndale, WA). The Golden Eagles come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Ferndale was overwhelmed by Lynden (Lynden, WA), 70-20, in a league battle.
