In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Buckfield Bucks basketball team scored a tight 47-42 triumph over the Pine Tree Academy Breakers.
In their next game, the Bucks meet the Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) in a C South match, on Thursday, February 1. Buckfield will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 8-5 record after their 47-32 non-league win over St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME).
