Nebraska High School Basketball - Twin Loup tipped by Burwell

The Burwell Longhorns basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Twin Loup Wolves to 36 in the Longhorns league triumph on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandhills/Thedford for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Burwell will meet a Knights team coming off a 62-21 non-league win over Brady (Brady, NE). The Knights record now stands at 15-3.

The Wolves (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE). The Coyotes enter the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Anselmo-Merna was nudged by Central Valley (Greeley, NE), 40-37, in a league contest.
