The Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD), 55-35 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Pumas go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Wise went down by Flowers (Springdale, MD), 67-32, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Largo for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test on Thursday, February 1. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 78-17 league win over Crossland (Temple Hills, MD). The Lions record now stands at 12-2.
