With the win, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City upgrades its record to 15-11 on the season. The Bobcats host Nokomis (Nokomis, IL) to play the Redskins in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 18-10. Nokomis won 63-51 in their recent non-league bout against North Mac (Virden, IL)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Sandoval will attempt to upgrade on its 13-16 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 3-22 record after their 39-31 non-league win over Elverado/Zeigler-Royalton (Elkville, IL).
