The Curry Yellowjackets basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Lynn Bears to 29 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Curry will battle a Tigers team coming off a 42-26 league loss to Dora (Dora, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-10.
The Bears (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Hackleburg ran past Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL), 47-35, in a non-league contest.
