The Dobyns-Bennett Indians routed the host Volunteer Falcons basketball team by a final score of 60-39 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Indians face the Science Hill Hilltoppers (Johnson City, TN) in a 4A District 1 game, on Friday, February 2. Dobyns-Bennett will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a 10-11 record after their 62-56 non-league loss to Greeneville (Greeneville, TN).
With the defeat, Volunteer moves to 11-9 on the year. The Falcons travel to Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A District 2 game on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 6-15.
