The Montville Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Dumont Huskies to 44 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Montville will meet a Dodgers team coming off a 52-35 non-league win over South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ). The Dodgers record now stands at 15-2.
The Huskies (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ). The Scarlets enter the Big North - American contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Ridgefield Park was outscored by Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ), 41-39, in a league contest.
