In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Durand Railroaders basketball team scored a decisive 61-10 triumph over the International Academy Phoenix.
In their next game, the Railroaders meet the Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI) in a Mid-Michigan match, on Friday, February 2. Durand will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 10-4 record after their 45-31 non-league loss to Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI).
With the defeat, International Academy moves to 2-6 on the year. The Phoenix travel to Atherton (Burton, MI) to meet the Wolverines in a Genesee Area - Red match on Friday, February 2. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 2-9. Atherton lost 71-24 in their recent non-league match against Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI)
