The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) basketball nipped the visiting Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD), 57-54 in Tuesday's league test.
The Huskies (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Panthers go into the A Region 4 test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Dakota Valley got by Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD), 73-52, in a non-league test.
The Orioles now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Baltic for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Lennox will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-33 league loss to Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-13.
