The Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) basketball nipped the host Faith Longhorns (Faith, SD), 60-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Aberdeen Christian was tipped by Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD), 47-33, in a league test.
The Longhorns now own a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Timber Lake for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Faith will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 56-52 non-league loss to Dupree (Dupree, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 5-10.
