South Dakota High School Basketball - Freeman overwhelms Scotland

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Freeman Flyers (Freeman, SD) and the visiting Scotland Highlanders (Scotland, SD), saw Freeman's basketball squad wallop Scotland by a tally of 81-16.

With the victory, Freeman improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Flyers host Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD) to play the Cubs in a B Region 4 challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Alcester-Hudson lost 73-25 in their recent league challenge against Centerville (Centerville, SD)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Scotland will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Black Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 52-48 league win over Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD).
