In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Plainville Blue Devils (Plainville, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), by a count of 40-10.

The Blue Devils (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT). The Warhawks go into the non-league outing with a 1-14 record. In their last outing, Bloomfield was crushed by Weaver (Hartford, CT), 42-34, in a non-league outing.

The Gladiators now hold a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Vinal RVT for a Connecticut Technical outing on Friday, February 2. Goodwin Tech will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 39-11 league loss to Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT). The Hawks record now stands at 1-12.
