The Unity Christian Academy Phoenix basketball team (South Holland, IL), was overwhelmed 36-15 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL)
The Dragons now possess a 5-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beecher for a River Valley battle on Wednesday, January 31. Grant Park will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 47-39 league win over Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-12.
The Phoenix (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hinsdale Adventist Academy (Hinsdale, IL). The Hurricanes come into the Metro Prep battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Hinsdale Adventist Academy trounced Aqsa (Bridgeview, IL), 32-30, in a non-league battle.
