The Wagner Red Raiders basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Hanson Beavers to 38 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andes Central/Dakota Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Wagner will meet a team coming off a 45-43 league loss to Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD). The record now stands at 7-5.
The Beavers (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Titans enter the A Region 5 contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton triumphed over Gregory (Gregory, SD), 67-27, in a non-league contest.
