The Bethel Jaguars basketball team (Vallejo, CA), was nudged 46-42 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Hayward Farmers (Hayward, CA)
The Farmers now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph Notre Dame for a West Alameda County - Shoreline battle on Wednesday, January 31. Hayward will confront a Pilots team coming off a 58-29 league loss to Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 9-12.
The Jaguars (12-13) will now prepare for their battle against Vallejo (Vallejo, CA). The Redhawks come into the Tri-County - Stone battle with a 11-14 record. In their last battle, Vallejo edged Kennedy (Richmond, CA), 1-0, in a league battle.
