The James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) basketball crushed the host May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC), 56-26 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Bengals go into the AAAA Region 7 test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Lucy Beckham was trounced by Bluffton (Bluffton, SC), 68-41, in a league test.

The Sharks now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hilton Head Island for a AAAA Region 7 test on Friday, February 2. May River will encounter a Seahawks squad coming off a 50-42 league win over Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Seahawks record now stands at 7-15.
