The Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY) basketball nipped the host Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY), 68-61 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY). The Wildcats go into the District 51 test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Lynn Camp got by Model (Richmond, KY), 58-34, in a non-league test.
The Mountain Lions now own a 14-3 record. They play next when they host North Laurel for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3.
