Georgia High School Basketball - Lowndes overwhelms Lincoln

January 30, 2024: Valdosta, GA 31601

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) and the visiting Lincoln Trojans (Tallahassee, FL), saw Lowndes's basketball squad wallop Lincoln by a tally of 75-35.

With the victory, Lowndes improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA) to encounter the Wildcats in a AAAAAAA Region 1 test on Friday, February 2. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 15-8. Richmond Hill lost 44-36 in their recent league test against Camden County (Kingsland, GA)

The Trojans now own a 18-4 record. They play next when they host Gadsden County for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Lincoln will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 33-31 non-league loss to FAMU DRS (Tallahassee, FL). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-10.
