The Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD) basketball crushed the host McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD), 66-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Trojans (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Gregory (Gregory, SD). The Gorillas go into the non-league test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Gregory was trounced by Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD), 67-27, in a non-league test.
The Fighting Cougars now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Garretson for a A Region 3 test on Thursday, February 1. McCook Central/Montrose will encounter a Blue Dragons squad coming off a 58-35 non-league loss to Beresford (Beresford, SD). The Blue Dragons record now stands at 8-6.
