Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mountain Pine Red Devils (Mountain Pine, AR), 54-13 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Vernon-Enola upgrades its record to 30-0 on the campaign. The Warhawks host West Side (Greers Ferry, AR) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-14. West Side lost 65-30 in their recent non-league bout against Quitman (Quitman, AR)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, AR) in a 2A Region 5 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Mountain Pine will attempt to upgrade on its 16-11 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 63-55 league win over England (England, AR).
