The Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA), 46-30 in Tuesday's league test.
The Raiders (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Iota (Iota, LA). The Bulldogs go into the 3A District 4 test with a 14-10 record. In their last test, Iota notched a victory over Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA), 67-38, in a league test.
The Red Devils now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Cecilia for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Port Barre will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 38-15 league loss to Livonia (Livonia, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-14.
