The West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) basketball crushed the host Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), 73-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Colts (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Commodores go into the non-league test with a 10-12 record. In their last test, Tates Creek was trounced by Madison Central (Richmond, KY), 56-50, in a non-league test.
The Briar Jumpers now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Williamsburg for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Somerset will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 87-25 league loss to South Laurel (London, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-13.
