The Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES (Roanoke, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Temple Christian Crusaders (Madison Heights, VA), 16-15 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The EAGLES (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA). The Tornadoes go into the test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Timberlake Christian was tipped by Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA), 26-14, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Westover Christian Academy for a test on Friday, February 2. Temple Christian will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 37-17 league win over Christian Heritage Academy (Rocky Mount, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-3.
