Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA), 46-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Deep Run upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Godwin (Richmond, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Godwin lost 52-27 in their recent non-league bout against Manchester (Midlothian, VA)

Next up, the Justices play the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. John Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
