Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they saw their ice hockey squad knock off the host Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN), 4-1 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Rogers moves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Anoka (Anoka, MN) to face the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Anoka lost 4-3 in their recent league bout against Blaine (Blaine, MN)
The Ponies now sport a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodbury for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. Stillwater will face a Royals squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN). The Royals record now stands at 10-9.
