Oviedo Lions (Oviedo, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting East River Falcons (Orlando, FL), 71-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oviedo upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Seminole (Sanford, FL) to play the Seminoles in a bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Seminoles go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Seminole won 64-30 in their recent non-league bout against Eustis (Eustis, FL)

Next up, the Falcons play the Boone Braves (Orlando, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. East River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
