Illinois High School Basketball - Winnebago can't hold off Genoa-Kingston

The Genoa-Kingston Cogs basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Winnebago Indians to 46 in the Cogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cogs now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harvest Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 31.
The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eastland (Lanark, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Eastland edged River Ridge (Hanover, IL), 44-31, in a non-league contest.
