Kentucky High School Basketball - Bluegrass United falls to Model

The Bluegrass United Bluehawks basketball squad (Lexington, KY), was outscored 66-47 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Model Patriots (Richmond, KY)

With the victory, Model advances its record to 10-11 on the year. The Patriots host Lincoln County (Stanford, KY) to meet the Patriots in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 1. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 10-8. Lincoln County lost 48-35 in their recent league battle against Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY)

The Bluehawks now own a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bath County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 31. Bluegrass United will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 72-34 non-league win over St. Patrick (Maysville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-8.
