Nebraska High School Basketball - Holyoke trounced by Chase County

Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Holyoke Dragons (Holyoke, CO), 70-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Chase County advances its record to 8-9 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Hershey (Hershey, NE) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 2-13. Hershey lost 65-46 in their recent non-league match against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE)

The Dragons now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haxtun for a 3A/2A Lower Platte match on Friday, January 31. Holyoke will face a Fightin' Bulldogs squad coming off a 52-48 non-league loss to Burlington (Burlington, CO). The Fightin' Bulldogs record now stands at 6-8.
