Colorado High School Basketball - Golden View Classical Academy bests Dawson School

January 30, 2025: Golden, CO 80401

The Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Dawson School Mustangs to 30 in the Sentinels non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sentinels now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Poudre Community Academy for a 3A/2A Foothills game on Monday, February 3. Golden View Classical Academy will play a Warriors team coming off a 66-35 league loss to Twin Peaks Classical Academy (Longmont, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Dawson School falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO) to play the Golddiggers in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High game on Friday, January 31. The Golddiggers go into the game with a record of 3-9. Clear Creek lost 60-27 in their recent league game against Heritage Christian (Fort Collins, CO)
