The High Point Eagles basketball squad (Beltsville, MD), was crushed 70-23 in Thursday's league battle with the host Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD)
With the victory, Eleanor Roosevelt advances its record to 6-7 on the year. The Raiders travel to Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD) to meet the Pumas in a Prince George's County 4A battle on Monday, February 3. The Pumas enter the battle with a record of 13-2. Wise won 64-46 in their recent league battle against Bowie (Bowie, MD)
The Eagles now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flowers for a Prince George's County 4A battle on Friday, January 31. High Point will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 91-49 league win over Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-1.
