Maryland High School Basketball - Fairmont Heights holds off Gwynn Park

January 30, 2025: Brandywine, MD 20613

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Fairmont Heights Hornets basketball team scored a close 72-67 triumph over the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets.

The Hornets (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Hornets go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 3-9 record.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets confront the Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest, on Monday, February 3. Gwynn Park will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 90-9 league win over International High School at Largo (Largo, MD).
