South Carolina High School Basketball - First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest triumphant over Laurens Academy

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders (Greenville, SC) and the host Laurens Academy Crusaders (Laurens, SC), observed First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest's basketball team overwhelm Laurens Academy by a score of 50-21.

The Crusaders (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Spartanburg Day (Spartanburg, SC). The Griffins come into the SCISA 3A Region II challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Spartanburg Day trounced First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest (Greenville, SC), 51-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders encounter the Greenville Tech Charter Warriors (Greenville, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Laurens Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 54-44 league loss to Liberty (Liberty, SC).
