Maine High School Basketball - Lake Region bests Freeport

The Lake Region Lakers basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Freeport Falcons to 50 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lakers now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Poland for a B South game on Saturday, February 1.
With the loss, Freeport falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME) to confront the Eagles in a A South game on Tuesday, February 4. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-13. Mt. Ararat lost 64-48 in their recent league game against Noble (North Berwick, ME)
