The Lyons Lions (Lyons, NY) basketball were winner over the visiting Gananda Central Blue Panthers (Walworth, NY), 81-69 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host York for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Lyons will play a Golden Knights team coming off a 62-53 league win over Perry (Perry, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Gananda Central falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Blue panthers host Avoca Central (Avoca, NY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Avoca Central won 75-37 in their recent non-league bout against Campbell-Savona (Campbell, NY)
