The University Prep Panthers defeated the host Groves Falcons basketball squad by a final score of 69-55 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Westfield Prep Warriors (Redford, MI) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 31. University Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record.
The Falcons (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI). The Yellowjackets come into the Oakland - Red outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Avondale overcame Ferndale (Ferndale, MI), 63-36, in a league outing.
