The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) and the visiting Wall Eagles (Wall, SD), observed Hill City's basketball team edge Wall by a score of 66-61.
The Rangers (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Cubs come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Alcester-Hudson edged Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD), 57-55, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Wall will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 70-52 non-league win over New Underwood (New Underwood, SD).
