The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) and the host Lakota Tech Tatanka (Pine Ridge, SD), observed Little Wound's basketball team knock off Lakota Tech by a score of 57-37.
The Mustangs (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD). The Braves come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte prevailed over Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD), 61-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tatanka encounter the South O'Brien Wolverines (Paullina, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Lakota Tech will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record.
