Next, the Bears clash with the American Heritage Patriots (Plantation, FL) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 3. Mater Lakes Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 9-9 record after their 56-45 non-league win over David Posnack Jewish Day (Davie, FL).

The Hi-Tides (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Southridge (Miami, FL). The Spartans come into the 6A District 16 test with a 14-7 record. In their last test, Southridge bounced North Miami Beach (North Miami Beach, FL), 70-26, in a non-league test.
