The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Traverse City Christian Sabres (Traverse City, MI) and the visiting Mesick Bulldogs (Mesick, MI), observed Traverse City Christian's basketball team overcome Mesick by a margin of 81-62.

The Sabres (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Brimley (Brimley, MI). The Bays come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Brimley dropped by Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI), 61-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Mason County Eastern Cardinals (Custer, MI) in a West Michigan D challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Mesick will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 62-16 league win over Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI).
