Iowa High School Basketball - West Central Valley victorious over Paton-Churdan

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host West Central Valley Wildcats basketball team scored a good 54-38 triumph over the Paton-Churdan Rockets.

The Wildcats (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Bulldogs go into the West Central contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Van Meter was topped by Pella Christian (Pella, IA), 53-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rockets battle the CAM Cougars (Anita, IA) in a Rolling Hills contest, on Friday, January 31. Paton-Churdan will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 61-59 non-league loss to Stanton (Stanton, IA).
