Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks (Richmond, VA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), 72-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Spirit HomeSchool advances its record to 12-6 on the year. The Warhawks host Southwest Virginia Academy (Roanoke, VA) to meet the Conquerors in a Virginia HomeSchool match on Saturday, February 1. The Conquerors enter the match with a record of 11-6. Southwest Virginia Academy won 68-44 in their recent non-league match against Boys' Home (Covington, VA)

The Lions now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walsingham Academy for a non-league match on Friday, January 31. Veritas School will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 68-30 league loss to Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-11.
