The Lipscomb Academy Mustangs (Nashville, TN) basketball were winner over the host Battle Ground Academy Wildcats (Franklin, TN), 70-61 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Montgomery Bell Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. Lipscomb Academy will play a Big Red team coming off a 72-63 non-league win over Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN). The Big Red record now stands at 12-1.
With the loss, Battle Ground Academy falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-5.
