In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Akron-Fairgrove Vikings basketball team scored a big 44-23 triumph over the Bentley Bulldogs.
The Vikings (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Carsonville-Port Sanilac (Carsonville, MI). The Tigers go into the North Central Thumb - Stripes contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Carsonville-Port Sanilac was trounced by Dryden (Dryden, MI), 41-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Morrice Orioles (Morrice, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Bentley will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record.
