The Ferndale Golden Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Blaine Borderites to 25 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles now have a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Mt. Baker for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Monday, February 3. Ferndale will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 65-39 league loss to Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, Blaine falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Borderites travel to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Monday, February 3. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 12-6. Mount Vernon won 43-36 in their recent league game against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)
