In Thursday's non-league test, the Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) basketball squad trounced the host DuPont Tigers (Wilmington, DE), by a score of 55-27.
Next, the Buccaneers encounter the Cardinal O'Hara Lions (Springfield, PA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 1. Caravel will attempt to improve on its 12-1 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 12-7 record after their 45-41 league loss to Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA).
The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Padua Academy (Wilmington, DE). The come into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Padua Academy bounced St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE), 47-29, in a league test.
